SCUBA TANK CRANE MAINTENANCE

A Scuba tank crane also needs maintenance. O-rings wear, seats start to leak and the open and close turning is becoming increasingly difficult. When inspecting your Scuba tank, nothing is done with the crane (view our info at "Scuba tank inspections"). Therefore, have your crane serviced regularly and give your cylinder a visual inspection immediately.

During maintenance of the crane, the following activities are performed;

  • Disassembly of faucet and ultrasonic cleaning of all parts
  • Replacement of all moving O-rings
  • Check and if necessary replace stationary O-rings and other parts
  • Control threaded match valve and cylinder with the use of special tools

If you have a problem with your crane (if it is stuck, leaking, or no longer giving air) it is often too late !.

ESKO Diveworld therefore recommends that the crane be serviced at least once every five years!
